Xiaomi’s next big phone is expected to be the Mi Note 2, but the company could also be prepping an update to its flagship Mi 5. A new leaked render for the alleged Mi 5s shows the device in action while revealing some interesting new details.

The most obvious difference between the Mi 5 and this alleged Mi 5s is the rear camera, or rather, cameras. Xiaomi’s new device appears to sport two rear lenses, similar to Huawei’s P9 handset. The image is also supported by recent rumors that Samsung is selling dual camera modules to the Chinese startup.

The leaked ad mentions a pressure-sensitive 3D touch display, which could be a defining feature for the Mi 5s. Based on earlier leaks, the screen is expected to measure 5.5 inches (up from 5.15 inches on the Mi 5) but will reportedly stick with the same 1080p resolution. Finally, it could pack in 6GB of RAM to stay competitive with the latest Android flagships.

The Mi 5s sounds like a sweet update on the already impressive Mi 5. This is still just a rumor, but Xiaomi is expected to make some sort of product announcement later this month, so we may learn more within the next few weeks.
