Xiaomi’s Redmi 3 blew us away with a sleek metal design for just $100. The Redmi 3 Pro took it a step further, adding a fingerprint sensor into the mix. Now it looks like the company will keep pushing the envelope with the upcoming Redmi 4.
The rumored device recently started leaking in China, revealing a metal handset with a pair of rear cameras. The images, which were spotted by GizChina, show a unique layout with two large circular cameras arranged vertically and a flash set between them. The fingerprint reader is missing in action, but we’re guessing it’s simply moved to the front panel like on Xiaomi’s Mi5.
We still don’t know much about the Redmi 4, including hardware and price. If it’s anything like the Redmi 3 and Redmi 3 Pro it should offer mid-range specs for around $150, though we don’t expect Xiaomi to offer this budget-friendly phone in the U.S. at launch.
