Xiaomi’s Mi Note 2 (potentially called the Mi Pro) is expected to be the company’s most powerful phone ever. Now it turns out the device could also be the best-looking entry so far from the popular Chinese startup.
A fresh set of leaks shared on Weibo and spotted by Android Authority show the Mi Note 2 in stunning detail. You can clearly see the curved display, leaving the device with a nearly bezel-free design. A thin chin below the screen leaves room for a fingerprint-scanning home button and there’s a dual camera setup in back. The device appears to come in black, white or pink, though more color options could also be in the works.
One leaked image also includes a list of alleged specs for the Mi Note 2. The device appears to sport a Snapdragon 821 processor, a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and a 4000mAh battery. It may also pack a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 16-megapixel rear shooter, though it’s unclear if both rear lenses will be the same.
Xiaomi could offer the device in a few different configurations, including either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB storage options. Rumor has it the price will start at around $450 in China, but it’s unclear exactly what that will get you. The Mi Note 2 is expected to debut at an event this week, though, so we should have a lot more information pretty soon.
